Base

A level, solid base: non-combustible ground, pavers or a pad.

Permits

Some cities and HOAs regulate burning and backyard structures. Check with yours first.

Install notes

A wood or charcoal grill needs the same care as a fire pit: a noncombustible base, clearance from the house, fences and overhangs, and a check of local burn bans before you light.

The KUDU assembles and breaks down in minutes, so it can travel to a campsite or tailgate. Use it on a noncombustible surface wherever you set it up.

Not included. Plan for these.
