Power

3.5kW electric, stones included

Base

A level, solid base: a concrete pad, pavers, or a framed deck checked for the load.

Permits

Electrical work usually needs a permit, and some cities regulate backyard structures. Check with yours first.

Install notes

Revive lists 3.5kW and 8kW electric heaters on its traditional saunas. Have a licensed electrician size the breaker and wire to the heater's manual before you order.

Set it on a level, well drained base such as pavers, a concrete pad or a deck rated for the load, and check whether your city needs a permit for an accessory structure this size.
