About this fire pit
The Stahl X Gas Firepit is the X Firepit shape made ready for a gas burner, for homes with HOA rules or owners who prefer flame at the turn of a key. It sells for $999 at the maker for propane or natural gas.
It ships in four pieces of A36 hot rolled steel that bolt together, about 90 pounds boxed. Raw steel comes with some discoloration that disappears as the patina forms.
