Base
A level, solid base: non-combustible ground, pavers or a pad.
Permits
Some cities and HOAs regulate burning and backyard structures. Check with yours first.
Install notes
Set a wood-burning pit on a noncombustible surface such as pavers, stone, a concrete slab or bare soil, and keep the distance from structures, fences and overhangs your local fire code requires. Many cities ask for 10 to 25 feet.
Check burn bans before you light. Many counties restrict recreational fires in dry months, and our guides list current rules by city and state.
Not included. Plan for these.

Questions people ask before buying

Why only the Ranch Boss?

We list only products whose maker states US origin. Cowboy Cauldron's FAQ says the Ranch Boss is made in Salt Lake City and the Wrangler, Dude and Urban Cowboy are made in China.

How much room does it need?

The tripod is about 85 inches point to point and 76 inches tall, so plan a clear, noncombustible area well beyond that for safe access.

Can I order it through Brevley & Sons?

Not directly yet. Use the maker link for current pricing and lead time, or ask us about fuel and placement.

Who do I order from, and who handles warranty?

You order directly from Cowboy Cauldron, and warranty claims go to Cowboy Cauldron. We help you plan before you order and are here if questions come up after.
