About this cold plunge

The Blizzard Lite is the same large Primal tub as the Blizzard, without the built-in touchscreen. You run sessions from the PrimalOS app on your phone instead. It starts at $4,945 at the maker with the Pro chiller.

That makes it the lower cost way into a full size, insulated Primal plunge for tall users, with the same chiller choices, filtration, ozone and all-weather cover.

  • Fits up to 6 ft 8 in
  • Phone app control, no touchscreen
  • Pro or Elite chiller to 34°F
  • Approved for outdoor use

Questions people ask before buying

What is the difference from the Blizzard?

The Lite drops the 21 inch touchscreen and runs from the PrimalOS phone app. Tub size, insulation and chiller options are the same, and it starts $750 lower at the maker.

Pro or Elite chiller?

Both chill to 34°F and heat to 104°F. The Pro is a 1/2 HP unit; the Elite is 1.0 HP, which the maker says holds 34°F even in hot climates. The Elite package costs $500 more at the maker.

Where is it made?

Primal says its plunges are designed and supported in Logan, Utah. It does not state where the tubs and chillers are built, so we do not list an origin.
