Will it work at your place?

The questions that decide whether this goes smoothly: power, base, space, delivery and permits. Answered here, before you order.

Read: Cold plunge gfci electrical requirements
Power
Standard 110V outlet, max 620W / 6.9A, GFCI cord
Base
A level, solid base that can carry the weight (160 lb tub and lid; 285 lb shipped): a concrete pad, pavers, or a framed deck checked for the load.
Permits
Electrical work usually needs a permit, and some cities regulate backyard structures. Check with yours first.
Install notes
Most residential plunges and chillers here run on a standard 110 to 120V outlet. Use a GFCI protected receptacle, avoid extension cords, and give the chiller the ventilation clearance the maker lists so it can shed heat.
A filled plunge is heavy, often 800 to 1,500 pounds. Indoors, put it on a slab or a floor an engineer has checked; outdoors, use a level pad and plan drainage for water changes.
The maker lists free delivery to the lower 48 states.
Not included. Plan for these.
  • Electrical work and permit
  • Foundation or base
  • Assembly labor, unless the maker offers it

Questions people ask before buying

Does it plug into a normal outlet?

Yes. The maker lists a standard 110V outlet with a max draw of 620W / 6.9A and a GFCI cord. Use a dedicated outdoor-rated GFCI receptacle where you can.

Is it made in the USA?

Cryospring says the Barton is designed, rotomolded and hand-assembled in Minnesota, and its feature list says Made in USA. The included chiller is a third-party unit whose origin the maker does not state, so we show the maker's words rather than a badge.

Can I order it through Brevley & Sons?

Not directly yet. Use the maker link for current pricing and lead time, or ask us about sizing, power and placement.

Who do I order from, and who handles warranty?

You order directly from Cryospring, and warranty claims go to Cryospring. We help you plan before you order and are here if questions come up after.
