About this hot tub
The DayDream 3500S is the all-seats version of AquaRest's largest spa: 318 gallons, 35 stainless jets, a 3 HPR two-speed pump, ozone, two LED waterfalls and exterior lighting. It sells for $5,323.94 at the maker, or $5,856.44 as the Ensemble.
Without a lounger, every bather sits upright in a captain's seat, which suits families and groups better than couples who want to stretch out. It plugs into a 15 amp circuit out of the box and converts to 240V.
- 6 captain's seats, no lounger
- 35 stainless jets, 3 HPR pump
- 2 LED waterfalls
- Plug and play or 240V
Questions people ask before buying
3500S or 3500L?
Same shell, jets and price. Pick the 3500S if more people will sit upright at once; pick the 3500L if someone wants the full lounger.
What does the Ensemble add?
For $532.50 more at the maker, the Ensemble package adds a deluxe storage step with planters, a handrail and a built-in cover lifter, and the maker lists a 5-year limited factory warranty with it.
Can a 318 gallon spa really run on 120V?
It plugs into a 15 amp GFCI cord, but on 120V the heater runs at 1 kW, which is slow to recover in cold weather. The maker says a licensed electrician can convert it to standard 240V, where the heater runs at 4 kW.
