About this hot tub
The DayDream 3500L is AquaRest's lounger model: a six-person, 318 gallon spa with 35 stainless jets, a 3 HPR two-speed pump, ozone and LED lighting inside and out. It sells for $5,323.94 at the maker, or $5,856.44 as the Ensemble with step, planters, handrail and cover lifter.
Like the smaller Discover spas it ships with a 15 amp plug, so you can fill it and use it the day it arrives, then have an electrician convert it to 240V for faster heating. The full-length lounger is the difference from the 3500S.

Questions people ask before buying
3500L or 3500S?
Same shell, jets, pump and price. The 3500L has a full lounger; the 3500S swaps it for captain's seats and adds a second LED waterfall, so it seats more people upright.
What does the Ensemble add?
For $532.50 more at the maker, the Ensemble package adds a deluxe storage step with planters, a handrail and a built-in cover lifter, and the maker lists a 5-year limited factory warranty with it.
Can a 318 gallon spa really run on 120V?
It plugs into a 15 amp GFCI cord, but on 120V the heater runs at 1 kW, which is slow to recover in cold weather. The maker says a licensed electrician can convert it to standard 240V, where the heater runs at 4 kW.
