Power
120 V, 13.5 A max draw, GFCI outlet (maker)
Space
84 x 42 x 31 in, 125 gal (maker). Keep the clearances in the maker's manual.
Base
A level, solid base that can carry the weight (425 lb (maker)): a concrete pad, pavers, or a framed deck checked for the load.
Delivery
2 to 4 weeks (maker). Measure gates, steps and turns from the street to the spot.
Permits
Electrical work usually needs a permit, and some cities regulate backyard structures. Check with yours first.
Install notes
These tubs plug into a standard 120 volt GFCI protected outlet. Use a grounded outdoor rated outlet when the tub sits outside, and keep the cord off wet ground.
A filled tub is heavy. Set it on a level slab, pavers or a deck that can carry the full water weight; our deck load guide shows how to estimate it.
Not included. Plan for these.
  • Electrical work and permit
  • Foundation or base
  • Assembly labor, unless the maker offers it
