Space

61 x 36 x 31 in. Keep the clearances in the maker's manual.

Base

A level, solid base that can carry the weight (42 lb empty, about 1,100 lb filled): a concrete pad, pavers, or a framed deck checked for the load.

Permits

Some cities and HOAs regulate burning and backyard structures. Check with yours first.

Install notes

Plug the chiller into a dedicated, GFCI protected outlet sized to the maker's rating and keep the clearances it lists so the unit can shed heat.

A filled plunge weighs roughly 700 to 1,300 pounds. Indoors, use a slab or a floor checked for the load; outdoors, set it on a level pad and plan where drain water will go.

Not included. Plan for these.
