About this cold plunge

The Elite is Primal Plunges' 1.0 HP chiller, sold on its own for $2,900 at the maker. Primal says it holds 34°F even in hot climates and can also heat to 104°F.

It includes ozone and a 20 micron filter and connects to the PrimalOS app over Wi-Fi, so you can set temperature from your phone.

Do I need 1 HP?

A 1 HP chiller recovers faster after use and holds temperature better in hot garages or sunny patios. Our chiller size guide compares 1/2 HP and 1 HP units.

Where is it made?

Primal says its plunges are designed and supported in Logan, Utah. It does not state where the tubs and chillers are built, so we do not list an origin.
