Which one fits you
- Cold only, best value in full size: Cold Stoic 2.0.
- Hot and cold: Cold Stoic 3.0. We compare it with a rival in Cold Stoic 3 vs BlueCube C1.
- Largest people or longest sessions: Siberian Pro, 120 gallons.
- Lie-back soaking: Aurelius, with a 62.5 inch long interior.
Worked example: power
The Cold Stoic 3.0 lists 518 watts while cooling. If the chiller runs 6 hours a day, that is about 3.1 kWh a day, or roughly 93 kWh a month. Multiply by your utility rate for a monthly estimate. Actual run time depends on room temperature, lid use and set point. See chiller running cost.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Renu Cold Stoic 2.0 and 3.0?
They share the same 70 by 33 by 35 inch shell and 95 gallon capacity. The 3.0 adds heating, with a listed range of 37 to 104 F, a 518 watt cooling draw and a 1,013 watt heating draw. The 2.0 is cold only, down to 39 F, on a 450 watt cooling draw, and starts about $2,800 lower.
Which Renu cold plunge is best for tall people?
The Siberian Pro has the largest interior in the line at 48 by 24 by 30 inches and holds 120 gallons. The Aurelius has a long 62.5 inch interior in a lower, wider tub. The Cold Stoic interior is 40 by 25 by 31 inches. Measure your seated leg length against these numbers.
Can a Renu cold plunge go on a deck?
Check the load first. Renu lists filled weights from about 1,065 to 1,500 pounds, plus the person using it. On a small footprint that is a concentrated load many decks were not designed for. Have a contractor or engineer check the framing, or set the plunge on a slab.
Where are Renu Therapy plunges made?
Renu says its Cold Stoic, Siberian Pro and Aurelius plunges are designed and assembled in Southern California. We do not describe them as made in USA, because that claim needs the maker's written statement about the whole product and we do not have one.
What warranty do Renu cold plunges have?
Renu lists a 5 year limited warranty on the Cold Stoic 2.0, Cold Stoic 3.0 and Vero product pages, and a 1 year warranty on the Siberian Pro page, when we checked on Oct 23, 2026. Read the current warranty terms on the maker site before you buy, because coverage details can change.
Is a hot and cold plunge worth the extra cost?
Only if you will use the heat. A model like the Cold Stoic 3.0 can warm water up to 104 F, which some buyers use for contrast sessions or to keep water from freezing in winter. If you only want cold, the 2.0 does the same cold job for less.
